I spent some time exploring the Articulate Rise 360 Scenario Block…and I was quite happy with the results!
I use Storyline most of the time as it gives me, what feels like, unlimited development flexibility. I think that is important because we want our development tools to fit the learner experience and not the other way around. I use Rise from time to time and it does have a fair amount of flexibility, but nothing like Storyline. Rise does have great responsive design capabilities though, where screen elements are reshuffled for mobile device scalability. So you know it looks good wherever it is being viewed. Importing a Storyline file into Rise is a big help, though, allowing more tailored learning experiences.
I really think the new Scenario Block is a home run. It knocks it right out of the park. It has a lot of flexibility and is still very easy to use. In this video, we will look at a small project I put together and show you everything you need to know to put together your first Rise scenario. Happy eLearning!
